Just a little note to let you know that in between the shit storm that is 2020 and channeling Mae West, I have been working on some side hustles which is why I have selfishly not been able to update this blog as much. Rest assured this is due to change as I am working on a plethora of content to be posted over the next few weeks. Exciting times indeed!
If you are in dire need of bunnypudding related content then check out my Witch and Tarot related blog and business over at digital-coven.com and keep your eyes peels for my next little love nuggets to be shared on here shortly. <3
As always, stay in touch by commenting below or following me over on my social channels, as you know I love a good natter.
I am not even going to go into the cluster fuck that is 2020. It’s been terrible, it’s been awful and my God my mental health is as good as yours…which I imagine looks a little like this:
So rest assured dear reader, I am not going to bore the living shit out of you by writing some deep and profound long-form post about how we can find inner peace during a shit storm. Maybe you can find inner peace in a shit storm, who knows – I certainly don’t but what Ms.pudding does know is that sometimes when it’s raining shit outside, you just need a break from it. Even if it’s a just break from the smell, and my gwad, haven’t you come to the right place for that. Distraction and disassociation is my bag baby, so you ready? Let’s go….
It’s October, therefore my lovely and ever-patient audience (Dad) this means two things – 2020 is nearly over – hu-fucking-rah and it’s….HALLOWEEN SEASON.
If you’re new here and just groaned at me mentioning Halloween… how on earth did you find yourself here*? Shoo, we do not want your wares here, oh no.
If you suddenly perked up at the near thought of the day celebrating the macabre, well my child, you have found a new home <3
So very top level with the news but I am building a new Witchy website which should be launching very shortly. I have just commited to a domain name and you’re all gonna be welcome to join my lil’ ‘digital coven’…so watch this space for the announcement. Whoop!
If you can’t wait until then (and why should you?!) please check out @bunnyscopes on Instagram or if you are a member of Soho works, come and visit me on the 29th October 2020 5pm onwards and get a lil Tarot reading from me in person 😉
And if youreally can’t wait, here is the first out of my MONTH LONG ‘lists of things to watch over the Halloween’ season posts. Get in.
The Love Witch
You may never have seen it, you may never have heard of it but you for sure will have come across a meme from it. ‘The Love Witch’ is not only a homage to the horror films of the 60s, it’s also a feminist film full of beautiful technicolour and fabulous fashion. It’s a personal go-to of mine and, was the first film I brought to cheer myself during the breakdown of 2018. Lolz, and we thought that was a bad year…Such fun memories…
Angela Carter, you saucy minx. If you haven’t read her yet, do so immediately. If you’re a prude then maybe not so much but still give her a go. Either way, you’re in for a titillating time. Based on her sensual retelling of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ from her collection of short stories ‘The Bloody Chambers’ the film takes a feminist twist on the original story. It’s my favourite film. I think this and Labyrinth could be played on repeat and I would never, ever get tired of watching them. On that note, if you partial to men in tight trousers and cravats, and I AM, then there are a few of those near the end of the film. You can thank me later.
And before you moan ‘Bunnypudding, these are all stylish, feminist films… where is the agony and painful horror!’ no shit. The blog name literally has ‘bunny’ and ‘pudding’ in it. That’s the first give away, champion. I may swear like a fish wife and could win in a knife fight but damn I’d be wearing an haute-couture dress doing it if I could… *Glares at sugar daddy* Also, this is a list to take your mind away from….**gestures animatedly** 2020. So if you’re looking for deeply emotional kitchen sink dramas, this isn’t the list for you.
Now, If you’re looking for fucked up fantasy films with a side of horror, how much fun are you having right now, huh?!
The cinematic version of Ann Rices classic book about the several hundred-year old vampire Louis (or Sir Wallow a-lot as I like to call him) retelling his life in the modern-day to a journalist – thus the ‘interview’ part of the title. This film was a favourite of mine at 12 years old and its a favourite of mine at 112 years old and for exactly the same reasons my friends (See above top-level description) Starring Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Antonio Banderas complete with fangs and flowing locks, its just fabulous.
So what about you my Digital Coven? How you doing – been up to any adventures? If so, I want to know below and hey, if you have a film you’d think I like, make sure to pop them down below as well. We’re partial to breeches, boots and bosoms as well as cravats…so cheers!
* Based on my blog Analytics I currently rank for ‘historical porn’…so I am gonna make an educated guess here. Also, I apologise for the disappointment that the site didn’t match your desired search term. I recommend The Whores of Yore for those actually seeking historical pornography but if you’re seeking salacious films from 1980’s and back – alas, nothing here but if you do find the sie, by all means, share the link. No judgement here ya’ll.
How has Summer been treating you? I don’t know about you but I have certainly needed vitamin D in my life. That was a very long Winter and I am very happy to be spending these past few months in the sun.
It’s been fabulous with work, part of that means I have been super busy and not been able to record much on here but I am always popping up on the ‘Gram so make sure to keep up with my adventures over on bunnypudding and my witchy account – bunnyscopes but we are working some amazing things so it is all worth it, especially the campaign we have brewing at the start of the year. It’s very close to my heart and makes my mental health struggles all seem to have a little more positive meaning now. Watch this space.
I am literally about to fly to LA in 4 days, therefore I have naturally found the time to write this entry…procrastination, moi? I’ve managed to start the process of packing my things, well, as much as you can do without a suitcase. Now, don’t judge me, we all had a Marie Kindo period last year and mine involved binning my large suitcase, so I shall be hauling ass to oxford street primark commeth Monday. Otherwise, I am trying to keep it sensible…I’ve brought no new clothes and most of the items that I need I already own, so on top of the suitcase, I have only treated myself to a new memory foam travel pillow #livingthedream #travelblogger #livelaughlove
I’ll try to post a few of my adventures in LA on here and make sure to keep me posted on what you have been up to and any recommendations on what to do when I am in LA below (Of just send your Instagram angles so I can just follow you instead) Whoop! Anyway, I am off to fall down another Lana Dey Ray* hole, see in you in 5 albums time.
*I wanna know what you think about the new Album, stat TWITTER
This weekend, I have mainly been working on a super long list of contacts for a project due Monday. I have officially become spreadsheet blind. I am dreaming in columns. As the task was time sensitive, I made to sure to leave enough spare moments for time wasting in my schedule as I know who I am. The best part of working on the internet is the random stuff that you find whilst casually doing your day to day job, this means I am never wanting for things to browse as my “read later” list is extensive. Here are some of the things I found on the internet during my breaks that kept me sane whilst I gently wept over my keyboard in between breaks.
The fact that there is a Moomin Theme Park.
I shit you not. All your childhood dreams have come true and you can actually travel to Finland and visit Moomin valley. Moomin World is Located in the island of Kailo beside the old town of Naantali, near the city of Turku in Southwest Finland. I mean, LOOK AT IT. It’s marvelous. How happy do they look in that picture? And whats that, they have a replica of the actual Moomin house? My inner ten-year-old self cannot contain herself. I’m adding meeting one of my fashion icons – “Little My” onto my bucket list immediately.
If anyone knows where I would be bale to stream this show, I would love you forever.
The woman engaged to a chandelier.
I love this story far too much. Sometimes a story just casually pops up into your news feed when you’re feeling blue and you have no idea whats going to happen when you click the link. All that you do know is that it won’t be boring. This was that story this of the week for me. To summarise, this fabulous creature has decided “screw men, this is exhausting” and set up house with a cornucopia of chandeliers, one of which she is engaged to.
The woman, Amanda, seems sincerely happy with Lumiere, her fiance – so good for her enjoying her polyamorous relationship with not just any old lamp, but instead, with the Liberace of lighting options.Way to go extra, Amanda, I applaud you.
We all do that thing where we spot an image (pictured below) and it captures us and it leads you on a random adventure. Well, that was my story this week with Pauline Boty. She had been on my mind ever since I first saw her picture at the V&A “So you want a revolution exhibition” (Fabulous event – I really want a youthquake!) and I found myself researching her more.
With the recent death of the Cristine Keeler, this painting she made during that period was brought up in a feed of mine and I was drawn back into a Wikipedia whirlpool trying to find futher information about her. So much so, I am currently working on a post about her. Very fascinating woman.
Literally digital crack, I discovered this game back in sixth form and haven’t been able to give it up since. The concept is simple, capture as many bees in bubbles (hence the snazzy name) within an allotted time as you can and try to beat your best score. Add a saccharine piano accomplishment to do it and et voila! The best way to waste a few hours of your life without feeling dirty afterwards… or something that will haunt your dreams. You decide.
There are loads of wonderful games on the Orisinal website, so I highly recommend giving it some time on a rainy Sunday..on that note:
The fact that it is snowing. I was having a wonderful Sunday Morning until I woke up to find world coated in fresh snow. It’s all well and good when you can practice hygge in your onesie in your flat, surrounded by cats but something else completely when you have to get up and commute in it on Monday morning. Sometimes, I am too forward thinking for my own good but I can’t help feeling glum about the fact that it is winter. How do you guys make yourself feel better in the colder months? I need all the help I can get – my housemate has recommended whiskey in my tea, I do wonder….
My goodness, it has been a hectic week for Ms. Pudding. I’m sorry to be getting my posts out so late but between my day job and my other little adventures, it’s hard to find the time to write it all down…Those that follow me on social media may be aware of a few events I’ve recently as featured stories on my social channels (If you don’t follow me, you must! I’m hilarious) but I felt the below deserved its very own write up, so that I could share it with you all, as I think it has something for everyone. PR can make you jaded at times, so it’s lovely when you get involved with something that warms your heartstrings.
Speaking of strings….
David Parry/PA Wire
I had a great time at the fabulous launch night of the guitarwrist pop-up store on Carnaby Street. The event was opened by the always wonderful KT Tunstall, who got to cut the guitar string rather than a ribbon – I loved that extra little touch…and I think we can all agree that the name “The guitarwrist” is on point as well!
David Parry/PA Wire
Over 150 international celebrated musicians and bands have donated strings to this project and a wide range of charities will benefit. The fabulous Emma Hedley designed the jewelry from a varied collection of artists such Chrissie Hynde to Pendulum. The full list of musicians is located on their site. The best part of all is that 90% of all profits go to the charities involved. Now, I have been to many “charity” launches but this one is as legitimate as it can get – Well done the Guitarist team, being charitable never looked or felt so good.
The shop at 2 Newburgh Street, W1F 7RD will be open 7 days a week until the end of 31st January. So make sure to stop by if you’re in the area and you can follow the team over on their Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. #theguitairwrist. Prices start from as little as £40, so accessible for every music fan and perfect for Christmas presents and stocking fillers (I’ve already circulated my preferred pieces to my loved ones…mwahaha!) If you do drop by, let me know, as I’d love to hear your thoughts but not to worry if you can’t as they have a swanky website for those who can’t visit Carnaby Street this Christmas season, so you can still get a unique little piece of your favourite artists memorabilia of your very own no matter where you are – www.guitarwrist.com

I was invited to the event by the Queen of PR, Susie Howard, (Entitled as such, by myself!) whom I worked with on the David Bowie, Fame, Fashion, and Photography exhibition last year. It was a great turn out, and I will make sure to include the guitarwrist party snaps in my “bunny about town” post, which is coming out over the weekend.
Anyway, I am about to pop out again into the cold and commute into Soho this evening. I am not looking forward to it one bit as the temperature has certainly dropped the past few days. As a Nothern lass, I have shamefully become far too spoilt by this Southen weather! Let’s pray it doesn’t snow….surely, I am not alone in my winter weather loathing? The only upside to winter is the excuse to wear dazzling coats more often….*grumble grumble* until next time –
Pssssttt!…..I may very well be having a blogger evening next week at the Popup store…If you are interested in coming along, please let me know <3
I saw this and had to share it. It really touched my heart. I think those that have contacted me recently will understand the sentiment. We are all beautiful, fabulous creatures. Now please, fly my pretties and go get ’em!
2016 was a fabulous year for me in terms of travel. I made sure to any accept any chance of going abroad whenever the offers arose. Some reasons I even made up myself, such as Girlie holidays, work jolly’s, birthday treats, un-birthday treats, the fact that it was April – you name it, I found an excuse to book a plane ticket (Albeit super cheap ones, which also means I am not the biggest Easy jet or Ryan air fan when it comes to service)
It’s so easy to find excuses to put off booking things, so I settled on a game plan where I would try to make my holidays stretch without interrupting work and conjoin them with weekends and bank holidays as often as I could so I could have optimal time away without too much professional impact. I know lots of us have jobs where things move so fast you don’t want to be taking a fortnight off and coming back to chaos, it’s situations like that which almost feel like the holiday isn’t worth it. I personally, also find it better to have things to look forward in the Months ahead so I keep hyper focused.
This year I managed to visit several destinations, but as I am having photo uploading issues (yes, still) I’ve popped a few Instagram snaps below to give you taste until I get the actual scenic shots on here.
Here I am walking into new adventures with my eyes shut as usual. Taken at a local service station on the German/France border. Me and the boy drive so much we have decided to start a blog that reviews them all. I am not even joking. We’ve started a paper list and everything.
We went over Christmas and it was one of the most magical experiences of my life. We got to live in a winter wonderland and drink mulled wine and eat meat with crackling constantly. It was the best. The Bavarian’s know how to live man. They really do. I’m rather partial to a pair of lederhosen now as well. Not stop, Oktoberfest. It’s gonna happen people.
In Rimes in France on Christmas Eve. It was a magical evening in the market. I’d literally just tripped over in excitement as I ran to that giant flower pot. What isn’t pictured is the crowd of french people laughing at me.
In Barcelona with the Squad for our birthdays. Such a fabulous City. Here we found love. Here we discovered the selfie stick.
Here I am in Rome. Just minding m own business pulling poses in a public street. What about it?
*not my best angle. I do actually have a chin.
Me with “Nigel”, who happened to be a giant penis chair in the “Sex museum” in Amsterdam. Safe to say I cropped the picture just in case any of you are at work but check out the full pic on my Instagram. I didn’t learn much but I saw a lot of porn which for a Museum is pretty damn fabulous. Great day out for all ages.
These pictures are from my Instagram my handle being @bunnypuddin if you want to be a good fellow and socially follow me.
I managed to pick up some great travel tips so I will make sure to list them in separate posts for each destination. I am blessed with a partner in crime who loves to feel like a local when he travels so we use public transport and drive when we can, to get the most out of our travel experiences and save money doing it…Which is great for us as we need to fund our vino consumption.
I haven’t got a hit list yet this year but I am really considering Asia as the Boy hasn’t been there yet and my ultimate dream, to see the Northern lights. If anyone knows of any fabulous sites where I can get some deals I would be most thankful. Also, where are you lot hopping off to? Let me know below as I’d love to get inspired and go somewhere completely unexpected.
Dang BBz, I much to fill you in on , literally, wheelbarrows full of things to fill you in on. Which as all bloggers know, means I haven’t had a chance to complete any blog posts, but I have a whole Sunday dedicated to sitting at home in my PJs and cats, typing up what I have been up to for the past fortnight. I’m not complaining of course, as the nature of my job (Seo and Digital PR) means that I am literally always doing something in the evenings or have an opportunity to go somewhere, and damn, I worked insanely hard to get to this point but it is still always odd to be typing up posts from three weeks ago…I am sure I am not the only one!
On that note, I will be attending the Mumsnet blog fest 2016 tomorrow and I would adore meeting and/or catching up with anyone who is going, or will be in London for that matter.
Looking forward to seeing you there….love……
Oh you didn’t think I would leave it there, did you? Pft, this is BP. No ignoring the huge racist elephant in the room but let forgets all of the past few weeks emotional dramas and laugh at some funny memes because damn it, you either laugh of cry. And if you’re anything like me, some us laugh till we cry! So please enjoy one of my new favourite videos….”Oh my god it’s a ….”
It’s almost as good as Chris Kamara many, many gems. Almost.
How are you fabulous people? I am insanely excited about Halloween and am trying to decide what I should wear for a “Horror Ball” I am attending in Hereford. I will be posting more about this next week so I can give the story the full attention it deserves. It’s a fundraiser in honour of Sophie Lancaster, who was tragically murdered for dressing in Gothic clothing. Yip. Killed for an outfit. Another prime example of why it is important that we fight hate with love. Fucking fabulous, fierce, unbreakable love. Love wearing black. Love in Drag. Love with Neon Hair. Love with anything you damn want and as long as you don’t hurt anymore and most importantly, kick someone to death for an outfit. No outfit is that trashy, sadly, some humans actually are. I will share the donation details as soon as they come, but for now, please check out the Sophie Lancaster Foundation to find out more.
I want to go dressed up with the Boi in something comic but can’t quite settle on a couples outfit, so I am Googling my little fingers to the bone trying to think of something. Ideas most welcomed!
In other news I have recently discovered “Ru Pauls Drag Race” (Fashionably late to the party as always) oh my goodness is it bloody brilliant. I’ve just finished season 4 and fell in love with just about every aspect of that show. It’s so positive and is all about being the best “you” you can be. So certainly up my street!
So I was delighted to get to go with my good friend Ileana to see Alaska Thunderfuck and Sharon Needles last night. It was even more amazeballs as I got to dress up as my spirit animal Patsy Stone ( Sadly the pictures didn’t do my “blonded” up hair justice…wah! I shall certainly be investing in a wig next time!) which go even better (or worse depending on how my anxiety is deciding to make me feel that day) On stage for a dance off. Yip. One stage. I Loved every minute of it.
Now before you get excited I totally lost and came last but that isn’t because I didn’t try but because we had two amazing dancers in the group and a professional burlesque dancer who were fooking fabulous! I had such a good time and the other three peeps were really lovely.
Anyway, enjoy, enjoy! –
Pasty and Eddie <3
Sharon Needles And Alaska Thunder Fuck
Dancing to “she wolf” to be fair I got the worst songs! haha #bowieforever
You can’t take me anywhere.
After last night, I truly feel like a drag queen in a womans body. Excuse my beauty, Mwah!
Oh how I have missed you. No, I really have. No, really. Seriously, I have….now can we move on? Good.
I have wanted to restart Bunny Pudding for a looooong time but knew at the bottom of my heart I wasn’t ready. Mama needed to take some time out, find herself and come then back again to bore you all with whatever my found self is (Turns outs she’s just as crazy as the old one, with a few more chins) So here we are….what have I been up to? Well, since the last post I have been globe trotting…thus far I have been Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Prague, France, Germany and last but by no means least, Italy….and I took plenty of pictures to show you in my posts about these places which I can’t wait to share. Sneaky Pic here:
I am loving my job, I’m so very thankful for that fact. Who couldn’t love their team when they make shit like this happen?!
That’s me that is.
and wonders like this
(That’s me as the cat being put in a bin before you get confused)
My anxiety is finally under control….again, more info on that in a bigger post, but you people out there thinking it’s just you…It isn’t…you fabulous over thinker you, BP sends you cuddles PM if you ever need advice or love from a woman who refers to herself as a part animal part culinary delight <3
Finally, until the next post as I have to scoot! Our beloved Starman David Bowie…*ahem* went back to his home planet *whimper*..rest assured he will always be with us and I am on the team that is helping to market a charity campaign in his honour for Cancer Research – Find more details via this here link beautiful sexy people –
I had a David Bowie party themed birthday in his honour….again, more on that! But no words as to how I felt when that happened and before you ask, I sobbed for two days and downed a few bottles of wine in grief…my house mate found it all most hilarious..me not so much!
Agrh! I’m so excited to fill you in on all of my fun and frollics BBz, but seriously, how the devil have you been? Send me your news, I wanna know!
